Tonometry is the method used for the measurement of the intraocular pressure of the eye.

Initially, local anesthetic drops are applied on the surface of the eye. Then the ophthalmologist measures the pressure of the eye using a Goldmann tonometer.
We also use last generation automated, electronic tonometers.
